subtitles track

Postby greydutch » 01 May 2012 12:04

Hello,

I have the following (small) problem: I have recorded some ts files from a French television station and they contain several subtitle files (English, Spanish, Dutch and so on). VLC shows the subtitles of my choice (Dutch) but only after I have changed Video > Subtitles Track from "Disable" to "DVD Subtitles - Nederlands". Is there a way to have "DVD Subtitles - Nederlands" to be the standard option (rather than "Disable") so that the film would start straight away with the subtitles I want?

Thanks.

Preferences -> Subtitles / OSD -> Preferred subtitles language
"nl,nld,eng"
If the setting doesn't work properly, try
"nl,nld,eng,none"
