Disable Scaling Perminately

Postby gohanrage » 14 Apr 2011 04:24

How do I Force VLC Media Player to never Scale the video when I have the player Maximized. I do not like my videos Scaled I like them to be their default Resolution so they are the Clearest they can possibly be. The preferences are too complex for me to find a way to disable scaling

I have two topics that can be merged because they are related

"MP4 1080P Video Not Displaying Correctly" This is the Title of another Thread by Me gohanrage

When ever Auto Video Scaling is unchecked it screws up the way 1080P videos display. it makes 1 Quarter of the video on the right of the screen Black. so I am missing part of the picture.

Once I re-enabled Auto Video scaling 1080P video worked correctly but I hate when Low resolution videos are forced to be full screen they become full of artifacts
