MMS Streaming (Radio)

Hello (sorry for my english, but I'm Spanish)
I wanted to ask two things:
1. When I enter an address in VLC streaming MMS (eg mms://a1569.l12014221568.c120142.l.lm.akamaistream.net/D/1569/120142/v0001/reflector:21568 (a radio of Spain), takes enough time to connect (30 seconds) with HTTP addresses if it connects to the moment. If I use the Winamp with MMS addresses it connects to the moment.
2. Just when I enter an address in VLC streaming in elapsed time appears to me a long time, if I enter an HTTP address, elapsed time is zero.

I cannot understand your question, but I pasted the Spanish radio mms link into my VLC 2.0 and it played (very loud!!! ) in less than 30 seconds - this is my screenshot:
