How to disable/remove pause/play images

Postby kasek » 14 Feb 2012 10:53

I'm using VLC media player 1.1.11 on Windows 7 Professional. I'd like to be able to disable/remove/get rid of the white Pause and Play images that are briefly visible on the upper right corner when one e.g. presses spacebar to pause/continue playing the video. Those images do not show up when pressing the Pause/Play icons on the toolbar during playback (that's what I need). However, I do need to control the video from keyboard. Haven't been able to figure out by trying out various settings.

Go to Tools -> Preferences -> (Show all settings radio button) -> Video -> Subtitles/OSD. Uncheck "On Screen Display".

Return to “General VLC media player Troubleshooting”
