VLC can't open some videos

Hi there.

I have a litlle problem.

Since last week end, VLC can't open some of my videos on my D:\ HDD, but has no problem with those who are on my C:\ HDD.

I don't know if the problem comes from VLC or my HDD, so I hope someone here can help me.

Is your D: drive a network drive ?

Anyway, open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin if it's too long.

I tried that, but there's nothing on the log, because VLC don't open the video.

Please, read my post again, read it carefully and then:

1) Answer my question: is your D: drive a network drive ?

2) Open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin if it's too long.
The log can not be empty.
