Frame-by-frame causes VLC to stop working

Postby kevanbd » 01 Jan 2012 04:24

So when I try to use the frame-by-frame feature on a video, it works great for a bit, but then randomly it will just stop playing the video all together.
I click the frame-by-frame button, the play button, the stop button, etc. but the video just stays frozen on wherever it was when frame-by-frame stopped working.
Then if I close VLC and click on another video to open it in VLC (my default media player), the program won't load.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but it didn't work. Anyone know what I can do?
I'm running Windows Vista 64-bit

Use VLC 1.2.0, please.
