Mapping two keys to the same action

Postby bmomjian » 21 Nov 2011 05:56

Is it possible to map two keys to the same action? I am able to do this under Preferences by mapping one key using the "Hotkey" and the other key using "Global", but ideally I would like them both to be local, not global. I am using vlc 1.1.9 on Ubuntu 11.04.

I would like to do this because I have a remote control that generates 'b' for play/pause, and I would like to use the space bar when I am not using the remote.
