VLC doesn't show my video card on Ubuntu

Postby ancientmember » 20 Nov 2011 23:52

i installed VLC on the latest Ubuntu and the system showed my Decklink SDI after installation. However, i can't see the Decklink from Videolan GUI. I went to "Devices->Video Capture" and it is empty. Where can i see my card and show the feed connected to the card?

There is no UI integration for Decklink support, due to Decklink not using the standard V4L2 API.
