Position of black bars when playing 16:9 video

Postby lubberjs » 19 Nov 2011 11:37

Hello,

I've got a Projector with a native resolution of 1024x768, so the aspect ratio is 4:3. If I play a 16:9 video, there are, of course, black bars on top and underneath the image. (The black bars are not included in the video)
My question is: Is there a way to put the image at the top of the screen, as if both black bars would be at the bottom?

Thanks for Your help!
Jeremias

PS: I'm not a native English speaker, so sorry if there are any mistakes...
