How to disable the text of the song appearing in the video?

Hi,

Big fan of VLC, novice user barely able to get it to work, though. But a pet peeve of mine is that the title of the song that's playing, appears on the video display of the song briefly in white letters before fading away shortly thereafter. I'm unable to figure out which series of commands (which box to check/uncheck) I need to work out in the Preferences.

Can anyone help?

Sounds like:

Preferences -> All -> Video

Deselect "Show media title on video".
