avi distortion/checker pattern

Postby marks10 » 18 Oct 2010 06:03

When watching an avi video in vlc, i notice especially on black colours that there is noticable lines almost like a checker pattern covering the screen, is there a setting or anything i can do to fix this?

I've got the same problem. These checkers appear when the player is on full screen and changing the Deinterlace didn't help at all. I don't have this problem when i play the same file with other media players. Can someone please help?
