Does not stop at first menu when playing ISO

I am using the latest version of VLC. I am having an issue with playing ISO files. If I attempt to play a DVD ISO through VLC it is going to the last menu item and not giving me
a choice to choose, RETURN TO MAIN MENU. However, if I extract the ISO back to the VIDEO_TS file folder it will play fine. Additionally, if I mount the ISO as a DVD then open it
through Windows Media Player, I have access to the menus on the DVD.

Is there a setting I am missing in the config?
