Automating Desktop recording

Postby gurkensalat » 11 Aug 2011 14:39

Hi everyone,

I googled a lot to get a solution for my problem. I have several machines (Windows, Mac, Linux) and I want to automate Desktop recording on every machine. So what I found out so far, is, that you can start VLC via Terminal. That would be okay for me. But what options do I have to pass to record/make a video of the Desktop? On this page (http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?s ... 0413302786) there it is described how to record a stream. But what exactly do I have to pass to record the Desktop?
Thanks a lot guys.
