Recording stream bug??

Hi,

I'll try and explain the situation as clear as a can;

1) I can record streams fine, the files appear in my music folder every time
2) one day, one particular stream that i try to record, the file does not appear anywhere when i stop recording
3) i ask a friend to try and record same stream link, file appears for him
4) i reinstall vlc etc hoping that i can record this particular stream again but no, it doesn't work....

Why does one particular stream not save anymore???? some one play explain because it's really frustrating me@@@@@@@@@@@@@

It's nowhere on my pc...I use to record from this steam link before but it just randomly stops saving them and every other stream links work fine...

I've noticed on Windows XP that some files (e.g. MP4, WMV) are saved in the "My documents\My videos" folder but some other files (e.g. TS) are saved at the root of the "My documents" folder. For some reason

Nope, I checked there and used the entire computer search button - can't find it (Bare in mind i tried to record it multiple times)

It just doesn't seem to work anymore...and my friend is having no problems :s

Must be some kind of bug surely :S

Can you give us the URL of the stream you're trying to record so we can test it ?

That, also - IT DID WORK, it just stopped saving the files for me but worked for other people....

(This has always happend before, but when I formatted my PC and it worked again)
