jump forward question

I want to jump forward for 5 few second so I press right arrow and shift
The movie move forward 30 second or the movie move backward
how can I move for 5 second forward ?

Go to preferences - select show settings "all"
Then interface - hotkey settings
From their you can change jump length in seconds.
