Running VLC from write protected Media (embedded system)

Postby McLion » 25 Jul 2011 08:52

Hi

I need to have VLC run from a write protected media (Windows Embedded Standard 7 with FBWF). The only function it needs to have is playing IPTV steams (udp, MPEG2-TS multicast).
Do I have to expect any issues or should I set some precautionary settings in VLC before protecting the Media?

Thanks for any hints.

VLC settings will be outside of the run folder.
