vlc doesnt play .ts file at all or without sound

i dont know whats up with the client... i use the test 2 but alsoo downgraded to the normal one without effect.
client crashes on starting. opening a file by double clicking it doesnt work at all (has it ever worked ?)
you have to open vlc and then have to open the file this way. when it plays, no sound. dont know why. same files play in media player classic (kaza mega codec set) with sound.
any idea ?

what kind of '.ts file' do you use? If you try to open Dbox Neutrino *.ts files, please forget it or request a fix at http://forum.tuxbox.org
The Dbox *.ts files are not valid because of missing PMT/PAT

no, no neutrino .ts file. different hdtv 1080i files like day after tomorrow trailer and many otehrs. this one for example lets vlc crash completely. others dont play sound but do it in media player classic.
