VLC 1.1.10 Streaming/Saving Issue

Hey guys relatively new to VLC M.

Am able to stream and save short youtube videos with both audio and sound.
However it is a different story with music videos//there is no visual only audio.

currently use the streaming method to capture video:
Ctrl+S
URL
File // destination
stream
