All M2TS files play back at very low framerates

Postby bobazonski » 04 Jul 2011 08:43

Any M2TS file, though the only ones I've tried are either 720p or 1080p resolution. Videos with similar bitrate and resolution play fine if they are mkv format. The videos play at the correct speed, audio is fine, but I'm only seeing it at maybe 6-10 fps. It's noticeable low. What might the problem be?

Is your PC fast enough? Did you try to activate GPU decoding?

Yes, if I play mkv files, even some at a higher bitrate, they play back at a good framerate. If I activate "GPU acceleration" (the only option I could find) there is no difference.

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin if it's too long.
Also upload a SHORT sample of a problematic file to Multiupload.com, so it will upload the file for you to several other hosts, and then post the link to the file here.
