error: option sub-original-fps does not exist

Postby martijnb » 03 May 2011 20:12

Hi all,

VLC freezes when loading subtitles, when playing a BluRay file (m2ts). The GUI continues to respond, but the video (+audio) stops playing. I've tested the following:
  1. The srt works fine when playing non-m2ts files
  2. This issue occurs in both the latest GIT-version and the one in the Ubuntu 11.04 repositories (1.1.9)
  3. Internal subtitles do work (i.e. subtitles already present on the BluRay)
VLC displays the following error message in the terminal:

Code: Select all

[0x3f7fbf0] main demux error: option sub-original-fps does not exist
m2ts: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1106740/00001.m2ts (100 MB!)
srt: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1106740/speech-sub.srt

Thanks!
