Trouble with jumping to a certain time

Postby brucecampbellash » 14 Apr 2011 21:59

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue where I am trying to play back a rmvb file. I try to use the time bar to jump ahead to go partway into the file. Anywhere after the 50 minute mark or so, if I click on there to jump to that part, it does play the file from there, but the time stamp jumps back to about 7 minutes or so, making further attempts to move forward in the file obsolete, as it will start from that time code again when clicking on the bar. This also happens when using the jump feature of VLC. Any suggestions?

yes that's a known bug with rmvb.
Must be an integer overflow or something like that.
Would you have a sample file to share ?
