Memory leak when no input multicast

Postby kabala » 05 Apr 2011 18:07

Hi

I am using vlc.1.1.7 in Ubuntu to create a mosaic from multiple multicast stream.
When there is no stream coming from one or more multicast stream, the vlc adds garbage in the memory.
So, after sometime the memory is full and the machine hangs.

Does anyone have any solution to this problem ?

I am afraid the only solution is to fix the code.

Do you have any idea, if this problem will be fixed in the future release?

It will be fixed when someone cares to fix it. In other words, I don't know.
