VLC 1.0.1 No sound when playing a .wmv with "--codec=dmo"

Postby broek » 04 Feb 2011 09:46

I have a .wmv-movie where there is no sound playing when VLC is invoked from the commandline with "--codec=dmo", if I omit this parameter the sound is audible. However, would omitting the "--codec=dmo" cause problems for other types of files, and if so, which types?

TIA.

Use 1.1.7 and forget about the switch.
