How to prevent VLC from adding Files to the Playlist!

Hello,

it is possible to change the behaviour how VLC is adding new Files to the Playlist?

im using VLC over the Explorer Contextmenu "Play with VLC" command or/and the Android VLC Remote!

BUT

VLC adds every File or Folder to the Playlist...so after a few played Folders my Playlist gets very crowded!

Is there a way to tell a running VLC to start everytime with a new playlist after choosing a new folder and not just adding them to the end of the list?
