time code

Hi,
i was using a video_ts movie from a hard drive and the time code is blocked to 0. I try on a pc with the last version of vlc and the 0.8.6i and on mac with 1.1.3 . and it's the same.
i try the same folder on other dvd application and the time code is working correctly.
Is there any limitation with chapter (60 per playlist)?
Try with dvd and i have no trouble with the time code.
What can i do

i have make some new test in fact when a dvd is longer than 2:47:06 the time become strange 5 sec for 1 sec and after 7 ours no time any more
