OSD not working - v1.1.5

Hi.
I can't make the OSD to work in vlc
Ive read the forum and didn't find any other having problem displaying the OSD.
this is how my config looks like.
what could be the problem?

so i solved the problem. i just had to reset all the settings to the default settings. i realized lot of the video effects didn't work. not just the OSD. once with the default settings the OSD worked normally.

note: In case some one wonder...: I don't know what in the settings caused this behavior or if the settings file was corrupted. If you have a similar problem try doing what i did.
