while watching videos vlc player 1.1.5 audio is not proper

i tried to watch video files with more than 700mb file size with formats including .mp4 and .dat
video is playing properly, but sound is got struck, but if i play the same videos in Windows media player, files are played smoothly. i uninstalled vlc 1.1.5 and installed 1.1.4, then the same files are played without any problem.

since the files are more than 700 mb, i cannot share those files, can you please verify the problem in your end?
