pre bufering

Postby qmor » 13 Dec 2010 07:54

Hello. i'm trying to use the VLC for simple TV broadcasting. Then the videofile in playlist changing - VLC has a delay around a seconds(or half) and window of VLC changing size and blinking. Can i made switching videofiles without delay like a pre buffering the next videofile in playlist and start it smoothly?

According to j-b's post in another thread, viewtopic.php?f=32&t=84674#p280112, this isn't currently possible (because VLC closes the video output between playlist items), but it should eventually be possible in VLC 1.2.0.
