DVD subtitles/audio track - can I lock them during loop?

Any help you can give will be appreciated.

I have a need to run DVDs in a loop with a certain audio track and subtitles. These are not the default selections on the disc (defaults are english audio/no subtitles). Now, I finally figured out how to loop the DVD -- check the "no DVD menus" box and select the audio and subtitles option from the VLC menu. Here's the trick, though. After the first play through, the audio track and subtitles revert to default. This is no good for me. Is there a way to lock the selections in?
