That's most likely due to the fact that your computer is simply not fast enough. As stated on Apple's homepage, you need at least a G5-CPU to play these files accurately.Haven't been able to test this with another player yet to see if this is because of bad encoding or bad playback.
VLC crash for me when I exit Fullscreen mode (~2 out of 3 times).Could people experiencing the Fullscreen -> window crash please report their computer setup please?
I need to determine if this is a occuring on machines all machines, or just on machines that don't support Quartz Extreme.

Et excusez mon anglais approximatif.
VLC est un soft vraiment indispensable pour les MacUsers.
David - as mentioned on the Features page, the WMV3 codec is only supported within the Windows version of VLC. No mention is made of when other VLC clients will support this codec (given its integration with Digital Rights Management technologies), and I'm not even sure Windows Media Player for the Mac supports it because of the DRM limitations. - jcmain: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `WMV3'.
I too have had the latest test build of VLC stop playback within a minute or so.Sorry to say but with teh new VLC media player 0.8.2-test1 VLC now not only chrashed when going from fullscreen to windowd, but also after 2 or three minutes into a movie, even doing nothing......
