Problems with subtitles (Portuguese)

Hello,

Usually, i use the vlc with subtitles, but since i did a update the subtitles in portuguese, instead appear the characters "ç" or "á", appear the charecter "?".
I have on the vlc the subtitle codec windowns-1252, and i use the version 1.1.5.

Can anyone help me!?

Make sure the subtitle encoding in the preferences subtitles panel is correct.
