MKV Ordered Chapters

Postby SoBugMeNot » 21 Nov 2010 08:49

This question appears to have been asked a couple times before, but there has been no real answer/solution posted.

Sometimes the opening/ending sequences of shows are cut out to reduce the filesize. They become separate files and are placed in the same directory as the episode files. The files are then linked in the episodes to play at the time when they would normally play. VLC doesn't know what to do with these files; it just loops back to the beginning whenever the file is supposed to start.

Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this? Is it just a neglected feature? If the latter, is there something preventing it from being fixed?

Thanks.

Hi. I also had this problem and had this problem too. I have an "ordered chapter"-ed anime and i tried searching for a workaround too and... here it is:
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=78712&p=259333&hil ... rs#p259333

it actually helped me watch my anime.
