troubles with codec

Postby yegorov-p » 16 Nov 2010 13:58

Hi everyone.
I'm using vlc to watch my iptv and I've some problems with one channel. When I switch to it, vlc just shows single frame and freezes. I made something like

Code: Select all

smudp -i udp://@234.2.44.103:20000 -o bad_channel.ts -period 30
and tried to play bad_chennel.ts, but faced the same problem. Then I opened it with kmplayer and it played without any problems

Here's that file.

PS

Code: Select all

#smudp -v 2010-11-16 16:01:54,smplatform.c(125),INFO,Main, SecureMedia v2.0.0.3201 (Linux x86) smudp v2.0.0.3201

googling for "main warning: can't get output picture" seemed to imply it is a bug (?) but I'm not sure.

Well, this video file can be played on other media players, like kmplayer, gomplayer and media player classic, so IMHO there are some problems in vlc. =( Maybe I should create ticket at trac.videolan.org?
