Hope I'm in the correct forum. (I'm a newbie when it comes to streaming) I have quite a number of movies stored on a hard drive as ISO (Image files). Having recently purchased a new TV and Blue Ray player, which came with a program (Nero) allowing me to stream movies (wireless)) from my PC to the TV, provided the movies are in .avi, .divx, or .mkv format. Having tried a number of conversion programs, which I found unsatisfactory, because of the conversion time, usually 2 - 3hs: I'm hoping that my VLC media player is the answer, seeing as VLC can play ISO files.
Can I stream an ISO playing on the VLC to my TV, wireless?. Having read Wiki 'how to', I just don't get it!, not familiar with jargon. Would really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you.
