Forcing audio to a specific channel

Postby dcbeast » 02 Nov 2010 02:01

Hi,

Is it possible to force audio playback to just one audio channel?

I would like to be able to play back a video and have the audio only come out of one speaker (in mono mode, i.e. all audio mixed down to mono).

Is this possible at atll?

I'm running on Windows 7 if that helps answering in any way.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the response...
Menu Audio -> Audio channels
Have already tried this but it doesn't do what I was expecting....

If I select "Left" on this menu, I simply get the left channel outputting to both left & right speakers. If I select right i get the opposite.

Audio device is set to Stereo.

I have tried all of the audio output modules that produce sound and they all behave in the same way.

Maybe this is a bug or is this the intended behaviour?

Cheers,

Darren
