VLC for IPAD bug?

Postby Meinfarr » 22 Sep 2010 17:41

I was trying to load a large quanity of .m4v movies and television episodes to take on a business trip.

I can load several episodes of a tv series just fine. I have loaded 10 at once. everything went well

Then I added several movies 7 I believe....and when it finished....I went into VLC and it immedately exited.

I uninstalled and reinstalled VLC....same result when I loaded a large quanity of content.

I uninstalled and reinstalled VLC....I loaded 10 tv episodes...works fine....I started loading one movie at a time...there is a point...(not sure where) VLC will crash once a threshold is met... Not sure where that leve is....

Anyone else seeing the same issue?

Any chance your m4v's have embedded subtitles? when I try to load an m4v file into VLC for iPad when subtitles are present VLC crashes after launching. It appears to be attempting to render a thumbnail but crashes about a second after launch.

I Instaled new version of VLC for IPAD 1.1.0 and now the subtitles dont work. Any solution for this? And now evert 10 minutes the VLC stops working and i have to exit the aplication and load it again. In the previous version this worked better.
