Speed Bug

Postby heaver » 12 Oct 2010 02:02

hi, i apologize in advance if this is not the right section but i ve been using vlc for about 2 yrs now and as the versions kept changing ive been having the same problem so i felt like that i should finally come and let it out lol....

i mainly use vlc to watch movies and anime...i usually watch movies at around (1x-2x) and anime (2x-3x) and whenever i go and click on the time bar (usually to skip intros) vlc crashes maybe not in the first time but it eventually will...it also seems that the faster the more likely it is to crash...

again this have annoyed me for 2 years now and i felt like i had to post this hahaha

But this has nothing to do with VLM ?
Did you try latest version ? (1.1.4)
I just tried watching a movie at speed 3x and did many seeks, and no crash here...

Can you give more info ?

yes im using 1.1.4 right now and im not talking about a single computer here...ive had like 5 or 6 computers/laptops both x64s and x86s in the past 2 years and ive had this problem in every single one of them...some other thing i forgot to say is that this seems to happen more on mkvs...
