Supressing Time Data

Postby mbmccurdy » 15 Sep 2010 05:34

Hallo!

I am watching some sports streams and it is important that I NOT be able to see the current time. There are two places it appears -- in the bottom right hand corner of the display, and, every time I skip forward with <right> or <ctrl>-<right>, etc. it is displayed on the overlay in two ways, in numbers and with a progress bar. How can all of this information be supressed?

deactivate OSD and toggle minimal view.

Thank you! So, specifying --no-osd certainly solves half of the problem. However, even in "minimal" interface mode, when in fullscreen display, moving the mouse shows the time in the bottom right corner and a progress bar. How can this information also be suppressed?

Thanks again,

Micah
