Can't seem to add folders to the media library

I just upgraded my vlc to 1.1.3

Currently my "Media Library" is empty and I would like to add my music folders to it.

I right click on the blank dialog which gives me the option of "+Add Folder"
I navigate to "My Documents\My Music" and click ok.
Then... nothing happens.
I tried navigating to the furthest sub-folder I could that contains some music files and same deal.

Using the add file option works as expected, but I haven't been able to use add folder since prior to 1.1.2 when it would crashing trying the same operation.

I would like to bump this, as I have the exact same problem.
Even when it tells you that it can "add folder," it only lets you add song files.
I have 54+ folders of music (I keep it organized,) and it will take me FOREVER
to add each song file, individually..

Solution: get 1.1.0
For some strange reason, it works perfectly fine here, but not in the latest 1.1.3

I have verified that 1.1.4 fixes this issue.
