unreadable greek subtitles

Postby ioakim » 17 Aug 2010 14:25

I have some movies and their external greek subtitles in .srt format. I have in my pc Windows Vista Ultimate and when I open the avi file the Greek fonts of the greek subtitles are unreadable just like these----ÌåôÜöñáóç êáé. I use the VLC media player.
However i opened the .srt file of the subtitles and the greek fonts are just ok. What can I do to fix this problem? What do I have to change so that I can see the correct greek fonts while playing the avi file?
Please give me any suggestions that would help.

This is an issue we are working on.

Please modify your configuration and test the latest VLC 1.13 release.
