Looping Stops

I'm currently experiencing some issues with looping in VLC. I have the latest version of VLC installed on two different computers (Both XP) that are both looping an MOV movie. One of the computers will stop looping it at some random interval. It always stops at the end the video. Sometimes it will loop for a day or so and other times it will stop looping after 30 minutes. The video is about 30 seconds long and 720*468. Nothing too crazy. The computers are pretty much identical in processing and ram. Any ideas why one would stop looping? TIA
