Nero Burning ROM problems with VieoLAN

How do I copy VCDs with VideoLAN installed on them?

Whenever I use a VCD, (AUTOPLAY disabled) Videolan keeps running and then I can't use Nero to burn a copy of the VCD! I get "Virtual runtime" and "C++" error messages. How do I sort this out please?

I'm using XP Pro, Samsung DVD combo, Nero v6 and I had no other copying problems with other software/hardware conflicts until now.
