youtube streaming, dump output to a file

Postby ivanhelguera » 02 Aug 2010 12:25

Welcome,
I used to be able to dump a youtube stream to an mp4 file by opening the stream, selecting convert/save, and checking the 'dump' option.
This is the work the thing should work, doesn't it?
Somehow it stopped working. Is there any place I could check for error messages?
Thank you,
IH
PS: I am able to *watch* the video, only the dumping does not work. Somehow, I was able to do it only a couple of days ago.
My setup: latest 1.1.2 on xp sp3.
the log:

Code: Select all

demuxdump info: dumping raw stream to file `C:\Documents and Settings\KSE\My Documents\youtube.flv' demuxdump info: closing C:\Documents and Settings\KSE\My Documents\youtube.flv (100 KiB dumped)
