DVB-t no streams in VLC 1.1.1

Postby Peterk » 24 Jul 2010 09:14

I use VLC for DVB-T and it works in version 1.1.0, but I upgraded to version 1.1.1 and now I only get the program information and EPG - no streams (audio or video)

I've noticed a similar problem which might be related. I cannot play *.ts files with VLC 1.1.1 while the same files work when played in VLC 1.1.0. Initially I thought it's just a streaming problem when I view TS streams from my Dreambox web interface but even when the TS file is downloaded I cannot play it with VLC. There is no progress shown and no video or audio played. VLC seems to do just nothing.

I've reset all settings (removed %AppData%\vlc) but still no go. Downgrading to VLC 1.1.0 fixes the problem.

I can't get (.ts) video files to play since I installed VLC 1.1.1 - will have to revert to earlier version.
