The crop-filter doesn't work in version 1.1.0

Postby amar » 22 Jul 2010 20:24

When I execute the following command on my Windows XP SP3 system with VLC 1.1.0, I can hear the audio, but the video is only black:

vlc.exe --vout-filter=crop --autocrop test.ts

Can anyone reproduce this problem?

Same here with 1.1.5

Tried various things and read 100 Threads but still not working... Can someone please verify this line is correct:

Code: Select all

vlc.exe --vout-filter=crop --autocrop test.avi
Thanks!

Does it work when you press the Crop hotkey? ('C' by default) If so you most probably got the CLI syntax wrong.

Yes. Hotkey works: Switches between 1:1, 16:9 etc. etc. ...
