Force aspect ratio field only accepts whole numbers

Postby link187 » 19 Jul 2010 01:06

Hi,

The Force aspect ratio field in Preferences >> Video >> only accepts whole numbers e.g if you put in 2.39:1 it rounds it down to 2:1.
I then have to manually change it (for every movie) to 2.39 by right-clicking and going >> Video >> Aspect Ratio >> 2.39.

This is no good if you try to watch movies in the cinema (2.39:1) aspect ratio.

You can test this with any file, I tried it on over 10 movies..

More information: I'm using it on vista (fullscreen) on a 2nd monitor and the version I have is 1.1.0 The luggage.

Please help

Aspect expect a fraction. I fail to see how this is a problem, since any number with a finite number of decimals equals a fraction anyway.

In this case, you probably mean 239:100.
