VLC video_ts crash

Postby j0hnasd » 17 Jul 2010 21:28

Hi, i have a problem trying to play a full dvd movie with folders video_ts and audio_ts (Star Wars III if it cares =P).

It loads perfectly fine, with the menus, subtitles, audio and stuff but suddenly in the middle of the movie (around minute 42) VLC crashes, vlc stay alive but the movie just shut off
i've tried using the "No dvd menu" option and i got a popup error saying:
Fallo de reproducción:
DVDRead no pudo leer 34 bloques en 0x80b3c.
and sometimes:
Fallo de reproducción:
DVDRead no pudo leer 04 bloque en 0xa703e.
in english it would be something like:
Reproduction faliure:
DVDRead can't read 34 block in 0x80b3c.
and
Reproduction faliure:
DVDRead can't read 04 block in 0xa703e.
it happend the exact same thing with other version of the same movie but it crashed on another escene (much more avanced), i though it was the movie file but now i get the problem again..

I've tried to watch the movie in VLC in windows, linux and on another PC and happend the same thing, also tried with mplayer and the same thing again..

any sugestions to try or should i belive its the files? Thanks

If both vlc and mplayer fails on it, I would say the files.
