Right click files in Windows Explorer

Postby GreameSmithy » 16 Jul 2010 23:05

Hello to Forum Members,

I had a quick poke through the forum but my phrasing found nothing so here goes.

Windows 7, VLC 1.1.0 (happened with previous versions), Windows Explorer with detail view, select 15 files and right click, as you would expect Add to VLC playlist, play files etc.

If I add a 16th to the list and right click these options dissapear. Am I missing something blindingly obvious?

Please enlighten me.

Many thanks
Greame

Interesting, can confirm the same issue (Win7 x64). When >15 files are selected the context menu list doesn't have any VLC options. Windows Media Player options are still there though.

It appears there is a 15 file limit (although presumably not for e.g. WMP...):

A potential workaround:

Thanks for the response Arite, It does look live I've incorrectly blamed VLC (Shame on me ;) ..When of course MS should be held resposible....

I'll try the workarounds and delve a little further....Thank you
