Volume control question

Postby SkinJeremy » 13 Jul 2010 22:31

Hello,

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong place. New member. I'm using a dell inspiron e1405 and it has "shortcut" (can't think of correct term atm) keys built in to control system volume and video playback. I use this mainly to control my computer volume. While using VLC media player, when I use these buttons, both the system volume and VLC's volume go up at the same time. I was wondering how to get those keys to stop controlling VLC's volume because I just use the CTRL up/down shortcut to control VLC's volume. Thanks

We will try to fix in an upcoming version of VLC.
