Playing v. mounting ISOs

Postby dchall1 » 10 Jul 2010 20:18

Hi, I have a lot of ISOs on a network drive. Some ISOs I can play directly with VLC with no problem. Others cause VLC to freeze as soon as I open them. However, those ISOs that I can't play directly play fine if I mount them to a virtual drive. Has anyone encountered this? This happens under both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.04, and I'm using VLC 1.1.0.

Thanks,
Chris

I believe this is a CDFS vs UFS issue when mounting the iso.
